Carports
A carport is similar to a pergola but may have thicker pillars and beams. There are two main types: those with open roof beams, perhaps to drape shade netting/canvas; or those with a solid roof to shelter from rain. The latter may have different roof types, for example interlocking sandwich panels; or wooden boards covered with waterproofing material; even tiles. We can build against a house or high perimeter wall; or a completely free-standing carport.
