A pergola offers a restful retreat in the height of summer – a place to relax outside, away from the sun’s glare; or linger with friends over a lazy lunch. Canvas or netting can be hung between its beams for a pleasing undulating effect; or wooden slats fitted for a more permanent solution.
Cabanas are more substantial, enclosed structures for outside relaxation – usually with a solid roof and often enclosed on two or three sides.
